The Bay Living Shorelines Project uses shell from local shuckers to create living reefs. The Coastal Conservancy received a new grant in 2015 through the USFWS North American Wetland Conservation Act to implement “Phase Two” of restoration in the San Francisco Bay. This project will include additional tidal marsh habitat.
