Our partners throw great oyster events! By simply attending, you’re making an impact in our efforts to restore Chesapeake Bay oysters. In some cases, proceeds from the event directly support ORP’s programs, and in others, oyster shells will be collected as part of our shell recycling program to be reused for planting more oysters in the Bay.

Join Pure Wine and Distinguished Vineyards for an evening of great wine and oysters from the comfort of your home.  PGet some fresh local oysters from our friends at Sapidus Farms. Learn about the ORP and their amazing efforts in support of the Chesapeake Bay.  Master the art of Oyster Shucking through an interactive demonstration and even get a complimentary ORP Oyster Knife.  Taste through six wines from the Distinguished Vineyards & Wine Partners portfolio while being guided through each.

Shuck like a Pro with Cookology & Wither Hills

Your first opportunity to learn to Shuck Like a Pro in 2022 is coming up soon! Shuck Like a Pro is a fun, interactive tutorial designed to hone your at-home shucking skills, making oysters a more approachable food to enjoy with family and friends.  At this event, presented by Wither Hills and Cookology, you’ll get access to a master shucker who’ll explain the basics of how to shuck, care for, and cook oysters (in two delicious ways). Plus, you’ll enjoy Wither Hills wine pairings, and oysters served raw, fried, grilled, and Rockefeller style!
