Little Choptank River

The Little Choptank is a tributary of the Choptank River on Maryland’s Eastern Shore. Under the ’10 Tributaries by 2025’ project, a directive of the Chesapeake Bay Watershed Agreement and Executive Order 13508- Chesapeake Bay Protection and Restoration, spat on shell deployment began there in 2014 and continues through 2017. The map below shows restoration sites that were seeded 2014- 2016 and is updated at the end of each restoration season. Click here for a plan for the restoration work being done on the Little Choptank.
