Kiss the sea at Mermaid’s Kiss Oyster Fest! Once a year the Chesapeake Bay community gathers in Baltimore to celebrate past and present efforts to restore our treasured keystone species – the Eastern oyster. It’s a bivalve lovers bash showcasing local aquaculture and the delicacies that has earned Mermaid’s Kiss the reputation as best raw bar event in Baltimore. Come celebrate the year’s successes with the oyster industry’s leading network of restaurateurs, farms, friends and advocates. The evening will feature live music by the Mike McHenry Tribe, a shucking awesome silent auction and signature dishes from some of THE BEST seafood restaurants in the region.

The Oxford Oyster Shooter: freshly shucked oyster with a splash of the Tavern’s famous bloody mary mix, a shot of three olives vodka and a squeeze of lemon
The Farm to Bay Oyster Shooter: freshly shucked oyster with a splash of tarragon migonette and a shot of Effen cucumber vodka
Chilled corn soup with spicy crab relish
Jumbo lump crab and pork belly tostada with a tamarind lime dressing, thai chili, cilantro and mint.
Crabatelli: Maryland crab with cavatelli cooked pasta,
rye bread crumbs and fresh picked herbs
