ORP is pleased to announce a Request for Proposals (RFP) for strategic planning consultants. As we celebrate over 30 years of impactful achievements in oyster restoration, we are preparing to develop a strategic plan to guide our efforts from 2026 to 2030. We invite experienced consultants, particularly those with a background working with environmental nonprofits, to submit their proposals. Key Details:
- Proposal Deadline: July 19, 2024, by 5:00 PM EDT
- Budget Range: $30,000 – $50,000
- Project Kickoff: September 2024
- Completion: May 2025
Scope of Work:
- Collaborate closely with ORP’s Strategic Planning Committee and Executive Director
- Conduct interviews with ORP Board and staff
- Engage with key stakeholders, including oyster harvesters, the aquaculture industry, and other partners
- Review and analyze relevant documents to identify critical issues and priorities
- Develop a comprehensive strategic plan addressing oyster restoration, sustainable fisheries, public outreach, education, and fundraising
Proposal Requirements:
- Firm’s background and relevant experience
- Primary consultant’s qualifications and experience
- Detailed task plan with a proposed approach and timeline
- Cost estimate and project-related expenses
- References and examples of similar projects
