TNC and NOAA teamed up for Oysters Gone Wild program to recycle shell from local bars and restaurants.

Roger Williams University, the Ocean Trust Foundation, National Fisheries Institute, and other local groups called CEED. Each year, approximately 50 thousand oysters are suspended from rafts in Blount Oyster Pond.One million oysters have been planted into Jenny’s Creek to date. Both areas have been designated special shellfish management zones.
