Check out the Oyster Recovery Partnership on CNN’s “Somebody’s Gotta Do It,” tentatively scheduled for October 22.

Mike Rowe and the crew from his show learned all about oyster restoration from staff at the University of Maryland Center for Environmental Science’s Horn Point Laboratory Oyster Hatchery and the Oyster Recovery Partnership. Mike’s show pays tribute to innovators, do-gooders, entrepreneurs, collectors, fanatics, people who simply have to “do it.” This show is about passion and purpose, a perfect description for those involved in the important work on oyster restoration.
